Site Survey and Questionnaire Before any design work can begin, an accurate survey of the existing garden is undertaken. This will show all details, including the house and other buildings, boundaries, levels, established trees and shrubs and other existing features. The questionnaire records all practical requirements for the garden and together with the survey, forms the Project Brief. |

Layout Plan and Construction Drawings The layout plan shows in detail the various features of the design; hard landscaping, planting areas, structures and lighting if required. To convey the three dimensional nature of the design, we will annotate and produce additional drawings where appropriate. The plan is used by a landscape contractor to cost, set out and build the garden. Construction drawings may be required for structures, pools and hard landscaping. At this stage we can also produce drawings for planning permission if necessary |
